Catastrophic Injuries
When an injury permanently changes what someone can do, the case is no longer about medical bills. It is about the next forty years.
Catastrophic cases fail when they are valued like ordinary injury cases. The medical bills to date are the smallest part of the loss. What matters is the cost of care that has not happened yet: attendant care, home modification, adaptive equipment, replacement surgeries, medication over a lifetime, and the income the person will never earn.
Proving those numbers takes experts — life-care planners, vocational economists, treating specialists — and the willingness to put them in front of a jury. That is the leverage that moves a catastrophic case.

Finding every layer of coverage
A catastrophic injury will nearly always exceed the first insurance policy available. The work is identifying every additional source: commercial policies, umbrella coverage, underinsured motorist benefits, separately liable companies, and in some cases product manufacturers or premises owners.
We also coordinate with health insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid on lien resolution, because what the family actually keeps at the end depends heavily on how those claims are handled.
